Wren Collision avoidance on wfb-ng? We assumed it was fully blind.

Ash The maintainer says CSMA/CA, basically listen-before-you-talk, is still active. But there are no retransmissions.

Wren So it's polite, not reliable. And we'd guessed 3-4 cameras at 1080p60 per 20MHz channel, from bitrate against estimated capacity.

Ash He says it's for long-range links and a reasonably small amount of drones. For dense areas, ordinary WiFi is better.

Wren So 3-4 is design intent, not a tested limit. It's still unmeasured, and no one's published numbers.

Ash Then plan multicam small and low-density, and verify it yourself.

Wren Treat 3-4 as a hope, not a spec. Full tracker's at DreamLab Research.
